Hi,

Anyone noticed low numbers of Monachs in Auckland City or anywhere else?

I've only seen 1 at home this season.

However, seen plenty around Waitakere & heard good reports from the North Shore area too.

Hi,

I have heard there is none around Titirangi and Glen Eden.
Plenty around my area in Massey.
Have released around 29 in the last 2 weeks from home.
The rest have gone to West Lynn to their butterfly house;-)

Cheers

Hi,

I got home today to get told that we had a visitor to the Swan Plants. On inpection, there is 20-30 eggs on all the plants. Yay, we'll have caterpillars in another 2-3 weeks.

Also heard that there is low numbers in East Auckland too.
